This position is responsible for accounting work involving reconciliation of Touch Net Payments, online Student Account payments, month‑end deposit summaries, daily sessions, and daily close‑out reports. Responsibilities include daily receipting of all revenue reports, accurately reporting revenue, posting student account payments, maintaining petty cash, and providing a high level of customer service to students regarding all aspects of their account.
Essential Functions- Respond independently to students and parents to resolve issues concerning their student accounts with accurate information, and discern when to turn over higher‑level concerns to the supervisor.
- Serve as liaison for students concerning issues with their accounts.
- Work diligently withentlichen auxiliaries to ensure accurate reporting of revenue.
- Maintain effective collaborative working relationships with related organizations across campus that impact office operations (Housing, Dining, Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions, College Deans, etc.).
- Listen, learn, and work within a security area with other staff members.
- Perform other essential duties that are tasks specific to the position and other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in a business‑related field preferred or 5 years work experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of Board of Regents business policies.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines.

- Detailed knowledge of the Banner Student Accounts receivable module preferred.
- Knowledge of Touch Net electronic bill payment suite preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to provide high‑quality customer service.
- Ability to decide on timelines for semester Pico payments that comply with BOR policy and federal guidelines.
- Ability to serve students, staff, and faculty tactfully and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
