• Highway Maintenance Worker 1: Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction; reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary. Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
• Highway Technician 1: Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction, decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 months training or experience in operation of basic equipment; valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.

• Position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
• All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one‑year probationary period.
• Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.
• Selected applicants required to undergo criminal background check.
• Selected applicants required to submit to urinalysis test for illegal drug use; a positive test will disqualify.
• Position subject to federal testing regulations and restrictions on marijuana usage.
• Selected applicants required to register as a driver in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
