Position: Distribution Specialist
Location:
Tiffin, OH
Pay: $16.00 an hour
Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch)
Responsible for performing all daily tasks in the distribution department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while maintaining product integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Report unsafe conditions and all accidents to the distribution manager
- Visually inspect product quality
- Identify and count product accurately
- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy, report discrepancies
- Handle semen properly
- Prepare tanks and packaging materials for shipping
- Stage tanks and package orders accurately and timely
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager
- Ability to learn company software
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Accuracy and ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs routinely
- Stand for long periods
- Exposure to Liquid Nitrogen
- Work under deadlines and stress
