. Saint Hilary School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Instructional Support Specialist to join our Catholic educational environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, collaborating with teachers, and helping create a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.

The Instructional Support Specialist works closely with homeroom teachers across multiple grade levels to support instructional activities, classroom organization, and the creation of a safe, welcoming, and effective learning environment
. This role includes working with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic concepts introduced by the teacher and actively supporting the school’s philosophy, mission, code of conduct, and learning expectations
.

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in progress preferred)
• Previous experience working with children
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a classroom setting

Under the guidance of the classroom teacher, the Instructional Support Specialist will:

• Provide individual and small-group instructional support
  , with or without the teacher present
• Assist in maintaining an organized, orderly classroom that supports learning and classroom management
• Implement effective behavioral management strategies as directed by the teacher
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students
• Prepare instructional materials
  , including bulletin boards, games, worksheets, and handouts
• Support lesson planning related to small-group instruction and student progress
• Assist with enrichment and remedial activities
• Support liturgical preparations as needed
• Learn to check and input student data using online systems
• Perform other duties consistent with the role

• Lunch and/or recess supervision as assigned by the Principal
• Morning student drop-off and afternoon pick-up support
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal

• Hourly Pay: $28.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience)
