Position Information Position Title AME - Student Assistant Posting Type Temporary End Date (if applicable) 08/28/2026 Classification Title App G Student Pay Band 1 Min Salary 20.00 Max Salary 20.00 Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Person Responsible for Maintenance of Confederation College’s Flight Training Unit, the AME Student Assistant duties will consist of:

Perform maintenance, repair and modifications on college aircraft and components;

Complete required documentation and paperwork;

Utilize parts and components in accordance with AMO procedures;

Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and organized manner; and

Other duties as assigned

Must be a full-time post-secondary student at Confederation College in the  academic year (minimum – attending entire winter 2026 semester). Full-time is defined as having a minimum 60% course load, or 40% if you have a permanent disability;

Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post-secondary student in September 2026 and have submitted a confirmation of enrolment form (available at ) to the Financial Aid department;

Must demonstrate financial need which is determined by submitting a financial needs form (available at ) to the Financial Aid department;

Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident protected person, or an international student who is legally eligible to work in Canada;

Student in the Aircraft Maintenance program.
