An ideal candidate has a PhD degree in organic chemistry or a related field (or Master’s with 3 years’ experience) with experience in bioconjugation and/or antibody drug conjugate (ADC) development. The candidate will be proficient in standard organic characterization techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, Q‑NMR) as well as familiarity with bioanalytical techniques used for bioconjugation reaction monitoring/characterization (e.g. CE‑SDS, icIEF, solo
VPE, etc.). The candidate will work as part of a drug development team with a range of responsibilities including conjugation reaction development, characterization of reaction profiles and kinetics studies, impurity and residuals removal (e.g. ultrafiltration/diafiltration) and commercial process development activities. The candidate will maintain laboratory notebooks and computer files, participate in group and project meetings, and work in a team environment collaborating with process chemists and analytical chemists.
