Overview
Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs. Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and ensuring merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications. Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time). Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.

- Understand customers’ needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.

- Listen to and respond knowledgeably to customer and employee questions by guiding them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary.
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers.
- Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
- Maintain in-stock items and ensure proper product placement and signage.
- Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display products and support materials using power equipment per reset/project instructions and processes.
- Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, deliver to Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area, and sign off as defective.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping.
- Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral; order replacements per merchandising standards and planogram details.
- Ensure product pricing information is visible and clear; resolve/replace missing pricing labels.
- Update/validate way finding and product location signage and maintain digital information store-wide.
- Ensure cross-merchandising, side-stack products, j-hooks, and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately to support add-on sales.
- Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale.
- Sort products in bins, drawers and boxes to ensure proper location.
- Merchandise to plantogram, price, color block, and place plants as they arrive; fill plant racks onto plant tables per plantogram for grand opening readiness.
- Clean and safe stores; maintain store environment according to standards.
- Review, complete, and enter completion details (when, time spent, photos to confirm servicing completion) for all assigned merchandise resets, service, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order; repair/replace as needed.
- Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes including peg-hook items.
- Remove trash and manage waste disposal; replace light bulbs and report maintenance issues (lights out, painting, etc.).
- Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks; promptly communicate to management and/or Asset Protection.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure cleanliness and organization of store and working areas.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.
- Adhere to safety requirements relevant to duties (e.g., top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, use of aisle blockers, tether lines on power equipment, spotters, safety devices).
- Operate store equipment as needed for the role/department (e.g., Zebra phone, paging system, copiers, computers, CCTV, and other listed equipment).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain point-of-sale signage and ensure bin locators are placed and price changes are activated; audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store for accuracy.
