3 Key Consulting is hiring an Associate Scientist for a consulting engagement with our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

Job Description:

Ideal Candidate: Experience in drug discovery, Masters with demonstrated techniques, academic background in oncology research, experience in biotech or pharma, publication record, ability to navigate a collaborative environment.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, comfortable in a matrix environment, confident in data analysis.

Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. degree with 3+ years of experience.

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to contribute to oncology target discovery and validation. Responsibilities include planning and performing experiments, data analysis, and team communication.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in cancer biology, understanding of signaling pathways and cell cycle.
  • Proficiency in cell and molecular biology techniques (cell culture, western blot, qPCR, etc.).
  • Experience with gene function assays (RNAi, CRISPR) and high-content imaging, familiarity with multi-omics.
  • Experience in target validation and early drug discovery stages.
  • Independent critical thinking, supported by publications.

Top Must-Have

Skills:
  • Background in cancer biology with cellular and molecular biology experience.
  • Experience in biochemical assays, molecular biology, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and imaging.

    Conduct wet lab experiments to support oncology drug discovery.
