End client requires candidates to pass Unisys screening, including education (highest degree earned) and employment verification (last 5 years).
Position Overview:- Lead the Unified Communications and Messaging Teams, providing Level 2/3 Operational Support and acting as the single point of escalation for Level 4 support.
- Resolve highly complex problems requiring in-depth analysis.
- Guide Unisys Operational Support personnel and collaborate directly with customers and vendors.
- Require 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Lead the client’s Operational Team for UC and Messaging technologies on-premise and in Office 365 Cloud.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for UC and Messaging technologies in the client environment.
- Provide Level 4 Operational Support for UC and Messaging solutions.
- Coordinate projects and system integration with other Unisys teams.
- Recommend system improvements and enhancements.
- Test new UC and Messaging technologies in simulated environments before deployment.
- Optimize system performance through reconfiguration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Build relationships with Microsoft and other vendors supporting the client’s UC and Messaging solutions.
- Train Level 2 and 3 engineers on UC and Messaging support.
- Support Service Desk and Level 2 engineers at Level 3 support.
- Stay current with client processes and incident handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years with Lync 2013 or Skype for Business, PBX technologies.
- 8+ years with Microsoft Exchange and O365 Exchange Online.
- 5-7 years of Microsoft and Networking technical experience.
- Experience with large-scale UC migrations.
- Understanding of cloud concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, Enterprise Mobility, SCCM, Intune, and related technologies.
- Experience with global deployments.
- Strong networking knowledge, TCP/IP, WAN/LAN.
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft certifications relevant to the role.
- Expertise in UC technologies like Lync, Skype for Business, PBX.
- Expertise in Messaging technologies like Exchange 2016, Office 365.
- Understanding of telephony, dial-plans, emergency services, QoS, VoIP, SIP, and SIP deployments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Strong project management and team collaboration skills.
- Effective communication and customer presentation skills.
- Experience with hosted platforms and multi-tenancy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Shell.
