Position: Primary Market Research - Consultant/ Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking PMR experts with diverse experience across consultant and project manager levels. This role involves leading high-impact client engagements and managing delivery operations within key accounts in the Life Sciences industry. Depending on level and experience, the individual will contribute to or manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strong alignment with client objectives. This individual will interact with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights and ensure delivery of high-quality market research.

Responsibilities
  • Support or lead end-to-end delivery of qualitative and quantitative primary market research (PMR) projects for clients in the Life Sciences industry
  • Ensure alignment of research outputs with client objectives and timelines
  • Contribute to the synthesis of data into strategic, actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and client stakeholders to drive value through research
  • Stay current on therapeutic area dynamics, competitive landscape, and market trends
  • Support PMR (qualitative and quantitative) project execution, including questionnaire/discussion guide development, vendor coordination, and data quality checks
  • Assist with secondary research and perform initial analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to support and contextualize primary research findings under the guidance of other team members
  • Draft client-ready deliverables (e.g., toplines, slides, summary reports) with a focus on clear, insight-driven storytelling
  • Actively contribute to and help facilitate discussions and brainstorming sessions to shape research insights and strategic implications
  • Attend client meetings as needed to present and provide delivery support while facilitating coordination between multiple vertical and hybrid teams (onsite and remote)
  • Build therapeutic area expertise and strengthen knowledge of PMR methodologies
  • Lead market research project execution across assigned onsite client accounts, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and client objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brand-specific market research (qualitative and quantitative) initiatives across business units and therapeutic areas
  • Oversee all phases of market research delivery to ensure integrated, insight-driven outputs
  • Manage senior client relationships to maintain engagement continuity, proactively address research-related issues, and support evolving business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams outside PMR to be a thought partner and drive strategic and actionable insights for clients
  • Monitor project health, mitigate research delivery risks, and maintain clear, proactive communication with client stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Stay current on therapeutic area developments and industry trends to provide context-rich, forward-looking insights that enhance the value of MR outputs
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent) preferred from a recognized institution
  • 4–10 years of professional experience in Primary Market Research, varying by designation, with exposure to U.S.

    -based qualitative and quantitative market research projects in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Strong expertise in pharmaceutical market research, with a deep understanding of methodologies, study design, data interpretation, and insight generation
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of primary and secondary research initiatives across therapeutic areas and brand life cycles
  • Solid grasp of pharma commercialization dynamics and the ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for commercial teams
  • Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in hybrid (onsite + remote) settings, ensuring high-quality, timely execution
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, resolve issues, and build trusted relationships
  • Willingness to be onsite at client locations as required
