Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, develop, implement, oversee and provide occupational therapy services and treatment to enhance fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing and other functional abilities and development among identified students with disabilities; observe, evaluate and develop occupational therapy treatment plans in response to student needs and disabilities; provide consultation and training to teachers, staff, parents and others concerning the development of student motor skills and related programs.
Responsibilities include:
Experience: Work experience with children (ages zero to twenty-two) providing occupational therapy services; experience working with special needs children is desirable.
Education: Persons with the experience, knowledge and abilities as stated are considered to have the necessary education.
REGISTRATION AND LICENSE REQUIRED: Valid registration by the American Occupational Therapy Association and a valid California driver's license.
Physical Requirements: The ability to pass a physical examination deemed appropriate by the District and perform the physical requirements of the position.

EXAMINATION PROCESS:
Structured Oral Interview - Date to be Determined; The oral interview will contain questions that assess technical knowledge and experience, and one's general fitness for successful performance in the position.
Applicants must receive a passing score (70%) on the oral exam in order to be placed on the eligibility list.
