Responsibilities- Plan and set up peptide synthesis, and perform peptide cleavage and purification using RP-HPLC
- Conduct antibody conjugation experiments
- Analyze and confirm peptide and conjugate identity and purity
- Accurately record all experimental procedures, observations and results in the laboratory e-Notebook
- Communicates data and interpretation to work group operate and maintain specialized lab equipment and instrumentation
- The successful candidate will support discovery research by executing peptide synthesis and antibody conjugation workflows and by delivering high quality, well characterized materials to project teams.
- Under minimal supervision, plan and set up peptide synthesis, and perform peptide cleavage and purification using RP-HPLC
- Perform general lab housekeeping activities, ensuring a clean, safe workspace
- Comply with all lab safety guidelines, SOP’s and relevant regulations.
- Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline; or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of standard laboratory practices
- Hands‑on experience with solid phase peptide synthesis and RP-HPLC purification preferred
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
- Organic chemistry
- Experience working in a chemistry lab
- Working with purification instruments
- Solid phase synthesis experience
- Solid phase peptide synthesis experience is a huge plus
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $26.00 - $27.50/hr non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
