Injection Mold Operations Lead

Description

Seeking a skilled leader to oversee the design, fabrication, qualification, maintenance, and optimization of tooling and molds for manufacturing processes. This role manages a team of toolmakers and machinists, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and efficiency while meeting timelines and cost targets.

• Manage the full lifecycle of tools and molds, from design through maintenance.
• Implement organizational systems for tracking tools.
• Ensure equipment calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Provide estimates for tooling projects; support capital requests and purchase orders.
• Lead design reviews and oversee tool construction.
• Create process improvements.
• Manage validation of equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the team.
• Responsible to department budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience injection mold tooling design, fabrication, and troubleshooting. Expertise in tooling standards knowledge CNC programming Knowledge of materials and machining processes.

Expert Level

This is a Permanent position based out of Westlake Village, CA.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
