Job DescriptionThis is a Contract Position
As an Engineering Technician, you will support engineering activities in the assembly of prototype semiconductor devices which include fabrication, modification and assembly of prototype systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized equipment.
Responsibilities- Daily activities include building semiconductor prototypes and engineering development parts using assembly equipment such as SMT machine, reflow oven, dicing equipment, die attach, wire bond, mold, laser marking, x-ray, grinding and sputtering machines
- Must be able to participate in daily updates, exchange of information in meetings
- Ensure ESD protocols are met and monitor compliance
- An Associate degree, or equivalent years of experience and 2 years of releveant experience
- Working knowledge and ability to run any of the following semiconductor assembly equipment:
Fuji SMT machine, Datacon Diea attach, K&S wirebonder, Towa Mold tool, EO Technics laser marking, Disco Saw singulation, strip grinder or X-ray machine - Read and interpret schematics diagram, engineering drawings
- Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Experience in MS office applications
- Knowledge in different electronics components
- Experience in manual soldering techniques of microscopic parts is an advantage
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekend as necesssary
