Lead Control System Engineer - Rockwell​/FTBatch

Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission and qualify Rockwell/FTBatch control systems. Mentors and guides junior engineers in the execution of projects.

• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from Rovi Sys, partners and clients to provide state‑of‑the‑art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing
• Develop Life Cycle documents, Control Panel, Network Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standards
• Redline P&
• Define and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurations
• Testing and on‑site commissioning and qualification of control systems
• Lead teams of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions
• Mentor less experienced engineers
• Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution
• Provide technical sales support to Rovi Sys business development team

• Interfacing with the clients in design meetings and conference calls
• Working with the project team leading less experienced engineers and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineer
• Programming Rockwell controllers and Factory Talk Batch applications
• Designing electrical control cabinets and panels
• Testing the system configuration to verify functions
• Travel to client site for project meetings
• Travel to client site for system commissioning

• 2-7 years of experience in automation
• Platforms:
  Rockwell PLCs, Plant
  
  PAx, FTBatch
• Thorough understanding of control system design and coding
• Self‑motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people
• B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Hands‑on experience with current Factory Talk Batch
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without Rovi Sys sponsorship

• Competitive Base Salary: $90,000–$129,000, depending on experience
