3 Key Consulting is hiring an Associate Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company.

Job Summary:

• Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for medical device related scope.
• Employ basic engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution.
• Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessment for automation system installations.
• Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous intern experience is a plus, experience with combination product and medical devices is a plus.
• Experience with primary container systems (syringes and vials).

Top Must have Skill Sets
:

• Organized and analytical, Strong ability to analyze data generated from a variety of analytical techniques and system is preferred.
• Previous lab experience is helpful but not required.
• Good technical writing experience and experience working in the lab/performing testing. (Both required).

Day-To-Day Responsibilities
:
Assist senior engineers with the following:

• Designing the study and drafting protocols.
• Compiling historical data from different analytical systems.
• Analyzing the data and presenting the results.
• Writing summery reports.
• Executing of the protocols includes testing in the lab using vacuum decay leak tester, Instron force tester, balance, microscope, pressure chamber, analytical measurement equipment’s like caliper, optical comparator, bore gauges, automated stoppering unit, pipits, and de-crimpers.

Red Flags
:

• Candidate with a schedule that is not flexible between 8am-5pm, possible overtime
• Bachelor’s degree not in Bioscience or engineering degree
