Adjunct Faculty – Film & Television Department, Thousand Oaks, California Lutheran University.

Key Responsibilities- Provide academic instruction to undergraduate courses, including lecture, lab, or performance settings.
- Advise students on programs of study, resources, and effective study skills; refer to support services as appropriate.
- Observe and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, discussions, and examinations; provide timely feedback.
- Plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines and learning outcomes to maximize student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and curriculum; submit data and reports on time.
- Evaluate and select instructional materials in collaboration with faculty; order materials according to campus bookstore procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience. - Preferred:
Ph.D. or MFA. - Licenses:
None.
Manual dexterity; verbal communication; moderate standing or sitting; light lifting; bending and reaching.
Working EnvironmentIndoor classroom; campus sites; online classroom environment.
CompensationHourly wage: $32.00 – $34.50.
