- Lead and manage a team of Moderators who guide participants through try-on sessions, providing coaching, feedback, and clear performance expectations.
- Own the daily site schedule: staffing, participant flow, break coverage, and throughput so that volume, diversity, and quality targets are consistently met.
- Ensure that capture protocols are followed: multiple sizes per item, multiple angles per size, varied backgrounds, and inclusion of both well-fitting and poor-fitting examples.
- Review sample images/videos for quality and adherence to guidelines; identify trends, coach Moderators, and implement corrective actions when standards are not met.
- Foster a motivating, creative atmosphere where Moderators feel empowered to inspire participants and experiment with poses, styling, and prompts within defined guardrails.
- Monitor data tracking and documentation (participants, items, sizes, angles, metadata) and work with central project teams to close gaps in representation across body types, ages, genders, and ethnicities.
- Serve as primary on-site point of contact for project leadership and support teams, escalating risks, incidents, and technical issues promptly.
- Oversee site readiness each day: equipment setup, lighting, backdrops, capture stations, safety checks, and environmental conditions.
- Train new Moderators on process, tools, and participant experience standards; run refreshers when guidelines change or new clothing categories are introduced.
- Help refine processes by sharing on-the-ground insights about participant engagement, operational bottlenecks, and creative approaches that improve data quality.
- 2+ years of experience in people management or team leadership in environments such as retail, events, studios, data collection, research labs, or operations.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, assign work, balance workloads, and hold a team accountable to daily and weekly targets.
- Strong understanding of visual quality standards (framing, lighting, consistency) and comfort giving concrete feedback on how to improve captured content.
- Experience working with diverse populations and maintaining an inclusive, respectful environment for both staff and participants.
- Operational mindset with strong attention to detail in following protocols, documenting work, and tracking metrics.
- Comfort with technology: capture tools, spreadsheets or dashboards for tracking progress, and communication platforms.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including standing and moving around the set for extended periods, and to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Inspirational leader who can energize a team of Moderators and keep morale high while hitting ambitious goals.
- Creative problem-solver who can balance structure (protocols, schedules, metrics) with experimentation (new prompts, flows, or setups).
- Clear, direct communicator able to translate project requirements into actionable guidance for the team.
- Calm under pressure, comfortable handling real-time issues with participants, equipment, or logistics while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Passionate about building data that better represents real people and real fit experiences, not just polished catalog imagery.
We are committed to partnering with skilled and qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment that values talent, regardless of gender identity, disability, veteran status, or other characteristics.
