Part-Time Tax Preparer

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper in tax preparation ! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $34 to $39 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 or more years of tax preparation knowledge and experience as well as considerable knowledge of returns, projections, filings, liabilities and payroll taxation. The selected candidate will be well organized, dependable poses excellent client relations and communications skills, be a team-player with the positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable, ethically sound, and able to exercise sound judgement with minimal direction.

Experience: 10 or more years of tax preparation experience (Public accounting is a plus)
License: Possession of California Public Accountant Certificate or Enrolled Agent a plus

Duties/Requirements:

• Considerable knowledge of returns, projections, filings, liabilities, and payroll taxation
• Well organized and dependable
• Poses excellent client relations and communications skills
• Team-player with a positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable
• Ethically sound and able to exercise sound judgement with minimal direction
• Possession of California Public Accountant Certificate or Enrolled Agent a plus
