Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage credit card transactions, process receipts, and post payments in Net Suite.
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions while maintaining compliance with accounting policies.
- Collaborate with the order processing team to ensure accurate and timely order management and invoicing.
- A degree in accounting or finance, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting and sales software, including Oracle, Net Suite, and Salesforce.
- Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and best practices.
- Possess experience with tax filings, including U.S. and Canadian sales tax reporting and compliance.
- Apply strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, across teams.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to support financial reporting and data analysis.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support financial processes and compliance.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism under pressure.
