Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to and organize tax notices from federal and state agencies, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Prepare state income tax apportionment schedules using data such as sales, fixed assets, and rent.
- Upload trial balances and foreign exchange rates into One Source for tax reporting.
- Assist with tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Perform cost segregation analysis and update related tax schedules as needed.
- Prior tax experience in a corporate or public accounting environment is required.
- Familiarity with One Source and BNA Fixed Assets is highly preferred.
- Experience with GoSystem Tax RS may be considered transferable to One Source.
- Comfortable working with complex financial data and tax schedules.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying timelines and priorities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax concepts, including M-3 schedules and apportionment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software platforms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
