Position: Local Contract Med/Surg RN - $63-64 per hour
Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.

• Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39

• Number of Staff – when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT

• Type of staff:
- Day Shift charge, 8 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm
- Night Shift - charge, 8 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm

• Patient Ratios – 5:1

• Type of equipment – remote telemetry

• EMR – Medi Tech

• Typical Procedures:
- Post-op surgical patients
- Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt. Also will see heparin drips

Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 12 months of Med Surg RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- Tele:
Ability to read strips
- CO RN License
- BLS and NIH Certifications

Preferred or Nice to Have:
- Medi Tech Experience
- Travel Experience
