Registered Nurse Outpatient Wound Care

Position Overview

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 per hour.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide outpatient wound care at HCA Health

ONE Mountain Ridge, a leader in Colorado healthcare.

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families while adhering to state and professional standards.

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning and performing care of the patient.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or active multistate RN license.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in acute care settings; wound care experience in outpatient or inpatient settings preferred.
• WOCN, CWS, or other wound care certification preferred.
