About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a temporary, long-term assignment with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will provide one-to-one support, demonstrating empathy, flexibility, and responsiveness to each pupil’s individual requirements.

Salary: £82 – £90 per day, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inspire and motivate pupils while effectively supporting colleagues.
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
Listen attentively to pupils to understand and respond to their individual needs.
Adopt a resilient approach, employing tailored teaching strategies.
Utilise your experience working with SEN pupils to deliver targeted support.
