Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils with SEN in both mainstream and specialist settings.
* Assist in implementing personalised learning plans, behaviour strategies, and intervention programmes.
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs.
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and communication development.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
Requirements

* A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt to different school environments and work flexibly.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to varying school locations).
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Desirable
* Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or SEN-specific training.
* Experience using alternative communication methods (PECS, Makaton, visual supports).

What We Offer
* Competitive pay based on experience.
* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
* Supportive leadership team and regular check-ins.
* Opportunities to work across a variety of settings and gain valuable SEN experience
