As a Security Officer – Access Control Specialist located in Thomson, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries, including Logistics & Distribution. In this part‑time role, you’ll monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, helping to deter security‑related incidents.

Position Type: Part‑time
Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Monitor and manage access control points to deter unauthorized entry.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting, maintaining accurate access records.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe security concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate security observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be applicable based on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
