This opportunity invites experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Room expertise to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency care using evidence-based practices.
- Foster relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to promote shared decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery and documentation while upholding a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance quality and safety.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor to new nurses and healthcare students to support workforce development.
- Comply with regulatory, legal, and organizational policies and maintain required nursing competencies and certifications.
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Licensure as a Registered Nurse with current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certifications as mandated. Multi-state compact licensure is acceptable.
- Less than one year of experience in direct patient care preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and excellent interpersonal skills essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure.
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days.
- On-call availability as needed.
- Weekend rotations minimum every other weekend.
- Holidays: minimum 2 major and 2 minor.
