Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency care using evidence-based practices.
• Foster relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to promote shared decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery and documentation while upholding a respectful and inclusive workplace.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance quality and safety.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to new nurses and healthcare students to support workforce development.
• Comply with regulatory, legal, and organizational policies and maintain required nursing competencies and certifications.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse with current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certifications as mandated. Multi-state compact licensure is acceptable.
• Less than one year of experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and excellent interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure.

Schedule & Shift

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days.
• On-call availability as needed.
• Weekend rotations minimum every other weekend.
• Holidays: minimum 2 major and 2 minor.
