Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of perioperative patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with physicians, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain certifications including ACLS and BLS; participate in ongoing safety and infection control programs
• Serve as both circulator and surgical tech during peak hours, with potential charge nurse duties
• Support clinical education by mentoring staff and students, acting as a role model and leader
• Manage surgical suite flow and resources to support cost containment and quality improvement initiatives
• Document patient care accurately following departmental guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required within 180 days if not upon hire
• Minimum one year CVOR experience preferred, with demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular surgical techniques
• Proven ability in circulating role, scrub role, or both within complex cardiovascular surgical settings
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills; effective communication and professionalism in high-pressure scenarios
• Flexible availability for varied shifts, including working weekends and holidays
