Travel Surgical Unit RN - Thomson, Georgia

This travel opportunity seeks a skilled RN with Operating Room experience to provide exceptional perioperative nursing care within an interdisciplinary team. Key qualifications include:

• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS certification upon hire

• Less than one year experience is acceptable; direct patient care preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and utilize technology to support clinical care

Primary responsibilities involve performing nursing processes with evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care. RNs deliver culturally sensitive, relationship-based care and engage patients and families as partners. The role requires coordination of safe, quality care through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to professional standards, and participation in performance improvement and research initiatives. Precepting and mentorship of nurses and students is encouraged.

Schedule:

• Day shifts Friday through Sunday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• On call as needed
• Minimum two major and two minor holidays required
