Position: Production Operator [Food Manufacturing | Tai Seng]

Job Summary:

Support daily production operations in a fresh‑chilled food manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, accurate, and high‑quality meal preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble ingredients according to recipes, portion standards, and visual build guides.
  • Operate preparation equipment such as slicers, dicers, mixers, and cutting tools in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Execute cooking processes including loading ovens, kettles, or steamers, monitoring temperatures, and recording batch parameters.
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency across all batches, including seasoning and cooking controls.
  • Transfer cooked items to chilling processes promptly and monitor cooling rates to maintain food safety.
  • Operate chilling equipment such as blast chillers and ensure accurate temperature checks throughout.
  • Maintain cold chain integrity by minimizing product exposure to ambient temperatures and reporting temperature deviations.
  • Operate packaging equipment, including tray denesters, fillers, sealers, checkweighers, and metal detectors.
  • Inspect packages for seal integrity, correct labeling, date coding, and portion accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area and perform minor equipment adjustments.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene requirements, and allergen control procedures.
  • Complete batch records accurately, including temperature logs and documentation of any deviations.
  • Adhere to safety procedures including equipment guards, lockout/tagout, chemical handling, and proper lifting techniques.
  • Perform sanitation tasks during and after production, supporting allergen changeovers and maintaining 5S standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a food & beverage kitchen environment or manufacturing facility.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and counts.
  • Knowledge of cook‑chill processes is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of food safety practices, temperature danger zones, and cross‑contamination prevention is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with allergen controls and basic quality inspection is an added advantage.
