Academic Enrichment Teacher [School Term & Holiday Shifts | Bukit Timah/Thomson/Parkway | $2.5K–$3.5K] – EH03

Subject: English language / Maths / Sciences (Preferably can teach at least two subjects)
Location: Bukit Timah Plaza, Thomson Plaza, Parkway Centre (Discuss the location during the interview but you will need to travel to multiple Centres when needed)
Working days and time: Monday to Friday [During school term: 9.30am-7pm / During school holidays: shifts between 7am-7pm]
Salary: $2500-$3500

Job Description

A. Student Care

• Support the daily operations of the centre, including both administrative and teaching duties.
• Ensure customer care experience for both prospective and existing clientele (from handling enquiries and collecting payments).
• Ensure the overall safety of the learning environment.
• Prepare progress reports for students on a termly basis.
• Prepare materials and deliver enrichment lessons for students on designated days.
• Plan and facilitate special events and/or excursions during MOE-scheduled school holidays.

C. Academic Teaching

• Deliver lessons for assigned classes (in-house curriculum provided).
• Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
• Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback.
• Perform required classroom administration responsibilities.
• Connect with students' parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback.
• Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to teach one of the subjects from P1 to P6 (English language / Mathematics / Science).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Familiar with latest MOE syllabus.
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience.
• Have experience teaching in group settings (of between 4 to 12 students).
