Vessel Accounting Executive AWS + VB

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the full spectrum of vessel accounting activities
• Handle marine accounting tasks including AP, AR, and GL entries, and support preparation of vessel expense reports
• Generate monthly and quarterly settlement reports from the accounting system
• Review monthly expense invoices to ensure proper cost allocation according to approved budgets
• Monitor and review procurement supplies from vessel managers
• Coordinate with vessel managers on contract preparation
• Support preparation and administration of marine insurance renewals and terminations
• Process insurance invoices and maintain accurate insurance records
• Prepare required documents for audit purposes
• Take minutes during ongoing project meetings
• Perform other assigned administrative duties

• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping or ship management companies handling vessel expenses or accounting matters
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
