Job Summary:

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing egg processing equipment while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the Sanitation Lead with other projects and duties as needed. This position will work overnight between the hours of 6pm and 4am, hours may vary.

Primary Job Functions

Disassemble, clean and sanitize all food-processing equipment

Use appropriate cleaning methods, including high-pressure hoses, chemicals, foamers, and scrubber, to ensure thorough cleaning

Work with chemicals and follow chemical usage labels for application along with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Clean overhead areas, floors, and other surfaces within the plant using appropriate cleaning methods.

Clean all product pipes

Conduct self-inspections after cleaning to ensure cleanliness

Follow all company policies, GMPs, Food Safety, SOP's and SSOP's

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Agile and able to lift 60 pounds
• Must be able to perform all job duties of the position.
• Must be able to reach, bend, twist and lift above the head.
• Must be able to work in various climate conditions.
• Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
