Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with oncology floor experience, GA or compact RN license, and strong skills in high patient ratio settings.
Responsibilities- Position is on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on oncology patients
- Patient ratio ranges from 1:6 to 1:7
- Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
- Works every other weekend
- Block scheduling may be considered
- EMR systems used are Cerner and Soarian
- Royal blue scrubs are required but not provided
- Minimal to no requested time off will be considered
- First time travelers are accepted
- Candidates must live at least 31 miles from the facility for consideration
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Experience managing higher patient ratios is required
- Telemetry and IV start skills required
- Oncology experience highly preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
