** Lean Manufacturing - Production Supervisor, Third Shift  (7:30 PM - 6:00 AM)*
* Ready to lead when it matters most? Xylem is looking for a driven, hands-on Production Supervisor to take charge of third-shift operations manufacturing large-scale wastewater treatment equipment in carbon and stainless steel.

In this role, you will:

+ Own third-shift production-keeping schedules on track while driving throughput and execution

+ Lead  
** Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
** initiatives that eliminate waste, improve flow, and deliver real results

+ Use data, root cause analysis, and standard work to continuously raise the bar on safety, quality, and productivity

+ Ensure tight inventory control, smooth material flow, and strong operational discipline

+ Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride on the shop floor-where safety and quality come first

This role is accountable for:

+ Executing  
** production schedules
** while optimizing labor, equipment, and throughput

+ Driving  
** Lean Manufacturing
** fundamentals (standard work, 5S, waste elimination, problem solving)

+ Managing  
** WIP, inventory accuracy, and material flow
** to support on-time delivery

+ Enforcing  
** quality systems, safety standards, and process discipline
** on the shop floor

+ Leading teams through data-driven decision making, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

This is a hands-on leadership role for a supervisor who understands fabrication and assembly environments and can translate lean principles into measurable operational results-especially on off-shift operations.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* ** Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement*
* + Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve workflow and reduce waste.

+ Identify and execute process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

+ Monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability and minimize downtime.

** Leadership & Operations*
* + Supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 25 direct reports.

+ Manage daily operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.

+ Conduct shift meetings and communicate updates to management and team members.

+ Ensure equipment and facility maintenance to support continuous production.

** Safety & Compliance*
* + Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards.

** Quality Control*
* + Maintain and enforce quality control measures.

+ Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

** Team Development*
* + Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.

+ Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.

+ Resolve conflicts constructively and support team adaptability.

** Administrative & Strategic*
* + Manage departmental budget and control operational expenses.

+ Stay informed on industry trends and integrate best practices.

+ Support decision-making aligned with organizational goals.

Experience with SAP and Workday systems.

+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
