Cardiovascular Center Manager
- Extensive knowledge of professional nursing and/or cardiovascular diagnostic theory and practice
- Adequate knowledge of modern principles and practices of hospital operations and cardiovascular/neurodiagnostic services
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and assist the Director with the daily operations of all areas of responsibility and to function independently in the absence of the Director
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be able to delegate, lead by example, and foster teamwork while maintaining an effective working relationship with department employees, other hospital staff, physicians, administration, the public, and other agencies
- Good physical and mental health. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, sit, stand and walk using good body mechanics without limitations
- Must possess physical stamina, using proper body mechanics, to assist with patients when required. Must be able to sit for long periods of time, some standing and walking
- Must possess visual acuity, with corrective lenses if necessary, to read printed materials
- Must possess good hearing ability, with auditory aids if necessary, to understand the normal speaking voice without viewing the speaker, and good speaking ability to ask and answer questions and relay information to others
- Must be able to auscultate the chest using a stethoscope and interpret sounds
- Must be able to work under supervision and to supervise staff as the situation warrants
- Must be able to work calmly and efficiently in stressful situations and handle medical emergencies with skill, good judgment and professionalism
- Makes a conscientious effort to help maintain a clean, safe and secure environment
- Assumes responsibility for institutional requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and licensed by the Georgia State Board of Nursing, BSN degree preferred, OR graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program and registered by the ARDMS or CCI credentialing board AND has or will complete within the first year of employment the Archbold University School of Management course as provided by Archbold Medical Center.
Five years of acute care or other cardiac related professional nursing experience, two of which have been in a management/supervisory position OR Five years clinical experience in either invasive or noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostics, two of which have been in a management/supervisory position.
