Ag Tire Technician - Ag Pro Fuel (Maintenance)

The Mobile Ag Tire Service Technician will operate a company service vehicle and provide on-site tire repair and replacement services. This role services a wide range of equipment including Large Ag Equipment, Tractors, Semis, Trucks, Passenger Vehicles, etc. The profession involves using specialized tools and equipment to perform various tasks associated with the job.

• Tire Installation:
  Mounting and demounting tires on rims and vehicles, ensuring proper inflation and balance.
• Tire Repair:
  Identifying and repairing punctures, patching or replacing treads, and replacing valve stems.
• Tire Inspection:
  Examining tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Equipment Operation:
  Utilizing a service truck and other machines/equipment to perform necessary tasks.
• Customer Service:
  Advising customers on tire care, maintenance, and potential replacements.
• Safety:
  Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  May perform other types of automotive maintenance tasks like oil changes, battery checks and brakes when not on a tire service call in the service truck.

• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient working independently on a service truck involving a crane as well as other tire changing equipment, balancing machines, and other relevant automotive repair skills. 1 Year minimum of tire/automotive experience preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude:
  Understanding of vehicle systems, basic maintenance and tire mechanics.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to lift heavy tires and perform tasks that require physical exertion. Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Attention to Detail:
  Ensuring accurate tire installation and repair.
• Customer Service
  
  Skills:
  
  Traveling to customers and communicating effectively while providing excellent customer service.
• Safety Consciousness:
  Prioritizing safety in all tasks and following established protocols.
• Problem-Solving
  
  Skills:
  
  Identifying and resolving tire issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
