Onsite
To maintain proper lubrication of all machinery in facility and to monitor equipment for potential failures.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:- Greases bearings using a grease gun, cleans grease fittings and inspects bearings on a scheduled basis.
- Operate forklift and use drum dolly to move drums of oil.
- Fill hydraulic tanks using a forklift.
- Operate hand liquid pump and read level of tanks.
- Fill automatic oilers, make adjustments and use grease gun to lubricate chains.
- Remove and install filters with wrenches.
- Maintain communications with other personnel as required.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
- Knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
- Time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Good hand / eye coordination.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
