Upson Regional Medical Center
The Thomaston Police Department is accepting applications for a Georgia POST-certified Police Officer to serve full-time on the campus of Upson Regional Medical Center.
This is not a contract position.
You are a full-time member of the Police Department with full benefits and support.
Schedule- 12-hour shifts
- 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- 15 working days per month
- Every other weekend off
Work half the month.
Have structure in your schedule.
Know when you’re home.
Compensation- $55,400 to $62,500 annually based on training and experience
- $7,200 signing bonus
- Take-home vehicle with 50-mile radius allowance
- Patrol hospital interior and parking areas
- Maintain visible law enforcement presence
- Lead Emergency Room security operations after hours
- Respond to incidents quickly and professionally
- Ensure safety of staff, patients, and visitors
- Support hospital security as needed
