Educational Paraprofessional Position

Job Description:

NAEYC Qualified Paraprofessional (Pre-K) - Permanent, Full time

Applicants must have:

* Bachelor's degree/training as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), meet the physical requirements of the position, and pass the requisite pre-employment checks

Hours per Regular School Day: 7.0 hour shift per regular, in-person school day (6.5 paid hours; 0.5 unpaid lunch break; no additional breaks)

* Payrate: $21.00 per hour

In accordance with the current agreement between the Thomaston Board of Education and the AFSCME employees)

The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922.
