Shift: 1 PM to 10 PM (IST)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in IT and software development to guide and support high-performing Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies, exceptional facilitation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex software products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Coach the team in Agile best practices to enhance velocity, predictability, and delivery quality.
Remove impediments proactively to ensure smooth sprint execution.
Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized Product Backlog.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, Dev Ops, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Foster a culture of transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.
Drive Agile maturity improvements across teams.
Monitor key performance metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, lead time, and team health indicators.
Promote adoption of modern Agile practices such as CI/CD, Dev Ops, automation, and engineering excellence.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; track mitigation plans effectively.
Ensure teams adhere to organizational processes, compliance, and governance models.
Mentor team members on Agile principles, roles, and responsibilities.
Guide new or transitioning teams through Agile transformation.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
8–12 years of experience in IT/software development, with 5+ years as a Scrum Master .
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and Scaled Agile practices (SAFe preferred).
Experience working with distributed/global teams.
Hands-on understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Expertise in Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, Rally, Confluence , etc.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams or large-scale programs (preferred).
Nice-to-Have
Certification(s): CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
Background in Dev Ops and automation pipelines.
Experience in product-based or fast-paced Agile environments.
