The RoleWe are looking for a reliable and friendly Canteen Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our staff canteen. This role is essential in ensuring our team members receive nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and serving food to staff
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
- Stocking supplies and assisting with basic food preparation
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Providing friendly and helpful service to colleagues
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good awareness of hygiene and food safety (training provided)
- Experience is not required, but interest in food is a must.
- A supportive and friendly working environment
- On-the-job training
