** Northland Community and Technical College seeks a full-time Biology Instructor for the Thief River Falls campus dedicated to excellence in teaching, who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community.
** Salary Range:**$43,067 - $94,542
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Master's degree with a major in biology or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in biology.
** Preferred Qualification
*** Experience working within higher education guidelines and policies
* Minimum of two years of teaching experience
* Formal coursework in teaching pedagogies, including principles and methods of student evaluation
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
* Knowledge of instructional methods, student assessment, and evaluation practices
* Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and the effective integration of instructional technologies
* Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital tools to support student engagement and success
* Academic background in Biology, Biochemistry, or Biomathematics
* Dual major in Biology and Mathematics or Chemistry, or a major in Biology with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics or Chemistry
* Ability to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into instruction, especially in STEM-related fields
