Job Duties Responsibility / Duty 50% of the time for this position will be spent providing high-quality teaching in courses produced by the Department of Allied Health Sciences based on department and university needs and as stated otherwise. Percentage Of Time 50 Responsibility / Duty 25% of the time for this position will be spent providing service to the department, college, university, and profession through student advising, committee work, and volunteer activity.

The person in this position will be expected to (1) advise students in concentration curricula related to the faculty member's background and as assigned by the supervisor; (2) serve on college and university committees as assigned; (3) serve as volunteer and department and university representatives on extracurricular and sometimes after-hours events, and (4) support efforts of the department and university in maintaining programmatic accreditation.

Percentage Of Time 25 Responsibility / Duty 25% of the time for this position will be spent conducting scholarly research, which shall include successful grantsmanship, mentoring student researchers, serving on undergraduate (Honors) student thesis committees, participating in professional development opportunities, presenting research findings at professional meetings, and publishing scholarly articles in appropriate educational and scientific journals. Minimum Requirements Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with department head, program coordinator, other faculty, and staff. Record of excellence in teaching, research, and service in a discipline germane and relevant to the College. Academic leadership: demonstrated success in developing and maintaining excellence in academic programming and research, including experience with accrediting agencies and certification/licensing boards; demonstrated innovation in instructional methods;

experience in strategic planning and shared governance. Management experience: expertise in managing large, diverse groups of personnel, as well as mediating ad resolving conflict. Test(s) Required Preferred Education Masters or PHD in an Allied Health related field
