Freight Coordinator

Freight Payment Coordinator – RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc.

Primary objective is to manage freight accrual exception process for rail shipments.

• Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database
• Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm payer of freight as needed
• Manage accrual without invoice exceptions
• Resolve accrual and invoice non‑match exceptions; dispute as needed
• Create ad hoc reports

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment, or accounting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• General understanding of accounting practices
• System savvy – prior ERP or Rail TMS experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
