You will assist the Head Mechanic in maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, including mowing machinery, tractors, and utility vehicles. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and keeping detailed records of all service activities.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, greasing, air filter replacement, and blade sharpening to prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Assist with ordering and managing replacement parts and supplies for equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain a safe work environment, and operate all equipment safely and proficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Mechanic and other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure equipment is ready for daily use.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use common mechanical tools.
• Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric‑powered equipment.
• Experience in small engine repair, automotive, or turf equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, sometimes up to 50–100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and have finger dexterity for operating tools and equipment.
