Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team in The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the operating room (OR) to assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical interventions. This role requires expertise in radiographic techniques, patient care, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure optimal imaging support.
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality.
• Position patients and equipment appropriately to capture required images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and imaging results.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with imaging equipment.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and surgical imaging techniques.

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current and valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Experience working as a Radiologic Technologist in an operating room or surgical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

This position is based in the operating room within a surgical facility located in The Woodlands, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods, working with patients of all ages, and exposure to surgical environments and radiation.
