We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care. This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment where clinical excellence, accuracy, and compassion are essential.
- Technical Imaging & Clinical
Competency:
Perform high-quality ultrasound exams using approved protocols and procedures. - Technical Imaging & Clinical
Competency:
Conduct routine, immediate care, portable, on-call, biopsy, and intraoperative ultrasound procedures. - Technical Imaging & Clinical
Competency:
Apply sterile or aseptic technique and administer contrast agents when appropriate. - Technical Imaging & Clinical
Competency:
Review, code, and charge completed studies accurately. - Technical Imaging & Clinical
Competency:
Recognize and communicate significant or pathological findings to radiologists. - Technical Imaging & Clinical

Maintain competency in routine exams; perform specialized procedures with minimal assistance. - Technical Imaging & Clinical

Conduct equipment quality assurance and report any image quality issues. - Patient Care & Safety:
Provide safe, compassionate care to patients across all age groups. - Patient Care & Safety:
Correctly identify patients using approved identifiers and follow all safety precautions. - Patient Care & Safety:
Respond to patient distress and emergency situations following established procedures (DIURT, CODE, etc.). - Patient Care & Safety:
Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas and ensure proper supply levels. - Patient Care & Safety:

Execute downtime procedures and coordinate with supervisors as needed. - Communication, Service & Productivity:
Communicate professionally and promptly with patients, families, physicians, and clinical partners. - Communication, Service & Productivity:
Use communication tools (whiteboards, pagers, phones, email, etc.) responsibly and effectively. - Communication, Service & Productivity:
Maintain high productivity and assist team members to ensure smooth department flow. - Communication, Service & Productivity:

Work flexible schedules, including early/late shifts and rotational call (including holidays). - Other Duties:
Perform all additional tasks as assigned to support patient care and department operations.
- Education:
Required — Graduation from an accredited program of ultrasound technology or radiologic technology. - Education:
Preferred — Bachelor’s Degree in related field. - Work Experience:
Preferred — 2 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
