The Loan Operations Shared Services Senior Specialist provides administrative and/or operational support with loan processing, servicing, and disbursements. As part of the Shared Services Team, contributes by accurately setting up new SBA loans and processing transactions including funding, payments, forgiveness and fees in Loan Manager; processing transactions on the non-performing loan portfolio including repossessions, other real estate, charge offs and recoveries in both core systems;

transaction posting on the purchased loan portfolios including consumer, mortgage and commercial loans; assigning items in the servicer workflow, completing reconcilements, and escrow processing.

• Prepare and review reports, files and reconcilements to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare reports and files for management, regulators and government.
• Process transactions and maintain non-performing loan portfolio.
• Process transactions and maintain purchased loan portfolio.
• Process transactions and maintain the SBA loan portfolio.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate loan and bank software applications (Bancline, ACBS, Loan Manager) and related websites.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively research and resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills.

  7+ years professional/business experience in financial services, or banking industry; 3+ years loan operations experience.
• Formal Education & Certification:
  High School diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field preferred.
