BGSF has partnered with a servicing company in the Woodlands and they are seeking a Treasury Supervisor to join their team. This position involves overseeing cash management, financial risk management, and ensuring efficient and accurate cash application processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and the ability to ensure the effective execution of treasury and cash application functions.

The daily responsibilities will include the following:

• Supervise and lead a team responsible for accurately applying cash transactions.
• Develop and implement efficient cash application processes and procedures.
• Monitor and reconcile cash application activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and address customer inquiries related to cash application.
• Implement best practices to streamline cash application procedures.
• Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and policies.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, including negotiating banking terms and services.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to banking structures to enhance efficiency.
• Manage the day to day in all banks.
• Prepare and analyze treasury reports for management. Including but not limited to 13-week cash forecast & daily cash report.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Draft rate set notices
• Submission of borrowing notices
• Manage and oversee ACH and wire transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain processes for efficient and secure electronic fund transfers.
• Monitor ACH/Wire activities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate on the resolution of discrepancies and discrepancies between financial records and bank statements.
• Serve as the primary contact for merchant services, overseeing payment processing, and ensuring seamless integration with financial systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize merchant services, including negotiating terms and resolving issues.
